MARJORIE L. RAY, 81 ROCKFORD - Marjorie L. Ray, 81, died Monday, May 16, 2011, in her home. Born Nov. 25, 1929, in Canton, Ohio, to Virgil and Helen (Walters) Johnson. Married Robert R. Ray on July 2, 1948, inn Monroe, Mich. Marjorie loved spending time with her family and was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Survived by husband, Robert; son, Keith (Jill) Ray of Bakersfield, Calif.; daughter, Kimberly Spayer of Naperville; and grandchildren, Ian, Evan and Kiersten (Steven) Spayer. Predeceased by her parents. Service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or Heartland Hospice. Arrangements by Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road.
