Marlene Fiebrantz Obituary

MARLENE J. FIEBRANTZ, 79 LOVES PARK - Marlene Jean Fiebrantz, 79, of Loves Park passed away Saturday, Oct, 23, 2010, in Provena Cor Mariae Center. Born April 23, 1931, in Rockford, the daughter of Loyal and Dorothy (Light) Anderson. She attended Loves Park schools and graduated from Harlem High School. Married William P. Fiebrantz in 1953 and spent most of her married life in Wisconsin. Marlene was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, decorating and painting. Marlene was especially fond of all children, often volunteering at schools, and was a member of the Harlemites. Survivors include dear son, Kurt (Jodie) Fiebrantz of West Bend, Wis.; devoted brother, Tom (Chere) Anderson of Huntley; cherished grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Sarah, Matthew, Adam and Jessica; cousin, Lynn (Marie) Howard; niece, Kris (Tim Reinert) Anderson; and nephew, Mark Anderson. Predeceased by parents, Loyal and Dorothy Anderson, lifelong residents of Loves Park; husband of 47 years, Bill; and her cherished daughter, Carrie Ozburn. Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd. , 401 River Lane, with the Rev. Peder Carlson officiating. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the funeral home.
