Paul Irving Obituary

Paul D. Irving, 80 ROCKFORD - Paul D. Irving, 80, of Rockford passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. Paul was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Alexander and Gladys (Farmer) Irving. He married Sarah Martarano on June 29, 1963, in Rockford. Paul worked 40 years at RH Donnelly, retiring in 1991. He was also a veteran, serving in the Army during the Korean conflict. Member of Rockford First. Survivors include his wife, Sarah of Rockford; children, Debra (Edward) Ganzel of Rockford, John (Cindy) Irving of Loves Park, Paula (Danny) Bryant of Rockford, Linda (Jack) Liebgott of Rockford; grandchildren, Sam and Tony Irving, Amanda (Phillip Peerboom) Bryant, Michelle Bryant, Tyler, Jared, Nick and Rachel Liebgott; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Shirley of Plainfield, Ind. Predeceased by parents; brother, Richard; sister, Delores. The family wishes to thank the SwedishAmerican Hospital oncology department. Service at noon Wednesday, May 4, in Rockford First, with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. Pastor Bob Taylor will officiate. Extend condolences online at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.

Sarah,
We so sorry for your loss. Paul was a real gentlemen and brother in the Lord. Although we miss him and his smile, our memories of him will remain until we see him again.
