Rogene M. 'Jean' Houston, 74 LOVES PARK - Rogene M. "Jean" Houston, 74, of Loves Park went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. Born July 25, 1936, in Polo, the daughter of Kenneth D. and Dorothy M. (Hahn) Reed. Married Dudley F. Houston on Dec. 2, 1967, in Belvidere. Employed by the U.S. Postal Service and Woodward Governor. Member of Loves Park VFW Ladies Auxillary and American Legion Post 207. Avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. She enjoyed arts, crafts, reading and listening to country music. Survivors include her children, Randy Bowen of Rockford, Tim Houston of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Kim Houston of Stevens Point, Wis., Bob (Debra) Houston of Phoenix, Greg Houston of Pecatonica and Deb (Dave) Koepp of Winneconne, Wis.; 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Marge) Reed of Wisconsin Rapids; sister, Marlene (Jim) Crozier of Loves Park; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband; grandsons, Jeffery Bowen and Zachary Houston; brothers, Kenneth and Mike Reed. Service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, with visitation from 11 a.m. to time of service; Wendall Maynard will officiate. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. I just wanted to say Jean was and always will be a very special Woman! Her passing was such a shock to me and everyone! I miss you so much Aunt Jean! I love you!
