"For the Lord does not abandon anyone forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion according to the greatness of his unfailing love." Words can not describe the man that we have all lost he, to all was a sweet and kind man, always willing to go the extra mile for anyone, smiling, Tom was always smiling even at his worst, he always smiled when I visited, and never showed any sign of fear. Tom Gramme is in the hands of our Savior now, and one day I know all his family will be with him, but until then, I know that he is happy, pain-free, and at peace with Grandpa and Christ our Lord and Savior.

To everyone who was ever a part of Tom's life I want to thank you from the boom of my heart. Tom was one of the most kindest persons I ever came in contact with and the only person that I can see that was kinder was his wife Misty. She gave everything she had to supporting my brother. I will miss Tom for the rest of my life as will all of his family. To the people that knew he was sick and were able to assist in helping Misty get to and from the hospital, You mean the world to me because without the gifts you were able to provide Misty she would never had been able to get to see her husband, and bestfriend as much as she did. I am in debt to you for the rest of my life and if there is anything I can do please ask. Tom I miss you and Dad keep him safe love Tony, Corey and the girls.

Tom is my little brother. There are really no words to describe how heartbreaking it is, now that he is gone. I do know this much, he is with God & Dad. So, I am at peace that I have that in my heart. He is being taken care of by those up-above. His suffering is over. Now I belive that Dad & Tom are catching up on some golf. Tom also played golf. I love him & I will miss him, until I see him again. Watch over us Tom. You're my little HERO!!! All my love always, B.J.

To Misty, the boys, the Lawrence family,& the Gramme family. I just wanted to share some memories of Tom with all of you. Tom loved to play volleyball. We got to play together on my team in Downers Grove. Tom fit right in with all of us. If someone hit the ball hard, Tom would try to hit it harder. The night of his transplant, I shook his hand & said good luck. He looked at me and said " I'll be back". A few weeks later, Tom was at a rehab. hospital in Schaumburg. Barb & I went out to see him. Well it happened that Misty was mad because Tom's girl scout cookies were missing. Before we left, Misty found them & they were opened. Tom smiled because he ate some of them. Tom was a fighter. Even in the hospital, I would hold Tom's hand & he would have a strong grip. One day I stopped in to see Tom & held his hand & told to keep fighting. One of the last times we went to U I C to see Tom, he gave us that special smile only Tom could do. Tom will be missed, but he helped make a lot of people happy. And to Misty, Tom remembered 1984 because you made it so special for him.

I knew Tom as a teen. He lived in the neighborhood & would often hang out at our house & play sports in the backyard. Incredibly good-natured and patient...he could handle any type or level of annoyance that my younger siblings could dish out! I'm stunned & saddened that he is no longer with us. My heartfelt prayers are with his loved ones.
