Jerry and family,

We will miss seeing Ted and his great welcoming smile at the American Legion Polls! He was loved by so many in his Rutland community, because he truly cared for them.
We were fortunate to have met Ted, who welcomed us to Rutland years ago, without delay, and we will really miss him. His gifts of artistry, love and friendship will live on in Rutland.

For a brief time I was Teds neighbor on East Washington Street. He was always friendly and would stop to say hello if we were outside. After I moved whenever he saw me he would stop to say hello and visit. I always enjoyed seeing him. My condolences to his family and friends. God has blessed you Ted.

A kid from the neighborhood has left us. Strange isn't it how we discover that time really does in fact "fly"! Once upon a time, a very long time ago, we were all playmates ~ Linda, Terry, Gay and Drew, Arnie, Jon and Ricky, Patty Lou, Bobby and Kenny, Patsy and others. God bless you Ted. You were one of the good guys.

When we were kids I lived across the fence from Teddy. I'm ashamed to say in those days I made fun of him because he wasn't a rugged, macho kid; as I got older I realized he was a wonderful fellow and he was kind enough to forgive my childhood taunts. He taught me one of my first lessons in humility. Good bye Teddy...
