Marguerite Nadeau Obituary
She was born in Rockingham, Dec. 23, 1921, the daughter of Harvey and Jeanne (Hunter) Garrapy.
She married Ernest J. Nadeau March 10, 1945.
Mrs. Nadeau worked at NewsBank (Readex) in Chester for 43 years, retiring at age 83.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed using the computer.
Survivors include a son, Ernest "Bud" Nadeau Jr. of Lower Bartonsville; three daughters, Marigene Purcell of Garnett, Kan., Jerrilyn Gomez of Springfield and Judith Lidie of Bellows Falls; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Manley and Betty Hall.
She was predeceased by her husband; a grandson and a granddaughter; three sisters, Mary Woodcock, Jeanne Hunsdon, Janis Moses, and three brothers, Earl Partridge, Harvey Jr. and Commodore Garrapy.
The celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the American Legion in Chester.

I will always cherish the memories of my visit with Gram in 2008. It was a wonderful gift to spend time with her. She was such an amazing woman, so strong, kind and loving. I miss you.

I have so many wonderful memories of my grandmother I am very thankful I was able to see her again at christmas time before she passed Gram you will always be in your forties to me & in my heart I love you very much

Buddy, Jerri, Judy and Marigene: I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a remarkable lady. She will always have a place in my heart. I enjoyed working with her for so many years. I enjoyed her company on our rides into and home from work. She will be missed dearly.
