STEUBEN, Danielle M.
She was born Sept. 22, 1977 and passed away May 9, 2012. Danielle graduated from Encina High School in 1995 and attended Chico State Univ. and MTI Business College in Sacto. She will be sadly missed by her husband Richard, children: Alexus, Ashley, Lauren and Logan, father Gerald (Sheila) Davis, mother Patricia Beaird, brother Jamar (Ronica) Davis, sisters: Andrea (Billy) Ward, Lisa (Andrew) Fields and Jamine Davis, grandmothers Vera Couch and Edna Beaird-Smith and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Danielle enjoyed traveling with her husband to his Navy stations in Millington, TN, San Diego, CA and Guam. She worked for the last 5 yrs as a legal analyst for the State of CA, Dept of Justice. She was married to her high school sweetheart for 16 yrs. He and their 4 children were the joys of her life. She enjoyed spending time with them fishing, traveling and camping. Danielle had an outgoing personality and a beautiful smile. Friends and family are invited to attend services Friday, May 18, 2012 at Chapel of the Chimes, Sunset Lawn, 4701 Marysville Blvd Sac 95838 at 10am.

Dear Danielle,
I miss you. I have missed you. It's been years since we spoke. I miss your outrageous personality. You were always glowing & full of life! You couldn't walk into a room without everyone taking note. You made everyone feel loved and at ease. You showed class and elegance in your care for others. This is how I remember you. I remember your letter from Guam. It made me feel so special that someone as "cool" as my older aunt would send me a letter. Not just any letter, but one that, upon opening, sang praises of how proud of me you were. It meant more to me than you will ever know.
Today, I am left with just memories & the knowledge that there are no more to create. I'm so sorry we didn't get to speak before you passed. I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye & most of all, I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you how much I love you one last time. I will tell your girls & Logan though. And I will pray for your (our) family & I will remember you with great love.

The memories that we have will live on forever. I will never forget the places we went, the things we did, the lessons you taught me about life, friendship, cooking and California. I am sad that you had to go before your time but I know in my heart that I will see you again in heaven and I can't wait until that time when I can see your smiling face again. I am so sorry to hear this devastating news about Danielle. I met her at DOJ. We had an instant connection because my husband is in the Navy. We also connected because we loved Cookie Lee. Danielle was the sweetest person. I will miss her smile.

I went for a long walk today, and I thought about you throughout..how we used to walk so much in high school, and you would walk so fast ahead of me, and I was always trying to catch up...u were always ahead, but full of smiles and laughters...you were such a wonderful and happy person that brought so much light in everything u did...you will always live in our hearts forever...May God bless your family, and strengthen them, may they have all the joy, peace and happiness that you have shared with them always...RIP my dear friend,...

She is a wonderful, warm hearted, sweet soul with a side of fun and adventure. That right there is a hard combo to find and will be greatly missed! My prayers for comfort, love and great memories go to her husband, kids, family and all the friends she touched so sweetly.

Danielle, I still can't believe this. My heart breaks for your family, children and friends. You were such a wonderful caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. You will be missed by so many people. Your smile would light up a room and your heart was filled with pure love for all. I had the honor of meeting Danielle through her sister Lisa while Danielle was getting her Day Care License, I use to give her tips on twins and what to expect with being a mother of twins. Danielle always had a beautful smile and so nice and full of life. I pray that Jehovah grant Danielle's family Comfort, Strenght, love, peace of mind and Understanding during this time of sorrow. My heart aches for you and your family, Richard. I regret that I can't attend the memorial service, but my husband is having surgery tomorrow and will be hospitalized for several days.
Danielle was a wonderful, caring, funny, hardworking person that will be missed by many. I hope you and the kids find comfort in your many happy memories.

I feel your loss in losing Danielle....she was sooooooo beautiful inside and out and she had my heart as soon as I met her. She could light up a room with her infectious smile and warm loving heart. She will be missed by all whom she met and came into contact with.
