Wolfgang SYDOW Obituary



SYDOW, Wolfgang
'Wolf' Sydow passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the age of 77 at his home in Eskaton Village, Roseville surrounded by family. Wolf was born in Landsberg, Germany, orphaned during World War II, and came to the U.S. as a young man; he was soon drafted and served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960's. He settled down in Little Rock, Arkansas where he raised his family and retired from Riverside Motors in 1997. From 2010 to 2011, Wolf lived at Chenal Parkway in Little Rock before moving to Eskaton Village in Roseville, CA in 2011.

Wolf is survived by: daughter Michelle Sydow, daughter Antje and husband Herman Nordman and grandsons Jesse and Jeremy Nordman, and son Marc and wife Dainey Sydow and granddaughters Rachel and Shannon Sydow.

A viewing will be held at Lambert's Funeral Home in Roseville, CA from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please send any remembrances to one of the following charities: Special Olympics (online) or mail a check to Special Olympics, 1133 19th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036 or to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (online) or mail a check to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave. 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.
