The Lord called upon our beloved Mother, grandmother, devoted friend and matriarch of our family. Her Passing came swift and peaceful in her sleep due to complications of pneumonia.
Audrey worked for the Rio Linda School District for over 30 years and upon retirement was a volunteer for 20 years for the Senior Gleaners as well as a loyal parishioner at Rio Linda Methodist Church.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Denis, son Bill, daughter-in-law Carol, brother Walter and sister Beth.
She is survived by her son Tom Blakeley and daughter Denise Cook and grandchildren, Rick, Teresa, Barb, Cindy, Patti, Dena, Aaron, Darren and Sarah as well as 18 great-grandchildren and 15 great great-grandchildren. Connie and Ken Hansel were very kind and devoted during her time of need and she could not have lived on her own without their help.
A private graveside service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, in Rio Linda.
The family welcomes you to join them for a memorial at her church of worship, Rio Linda Methodist Church located at 6th & M Street, Rio Linda, CA at 1:30 on Thursday, April 5, 2012.
