Duane Renison Obituary

March 25, 1950 - Dec. 23, 2015 Duane passed away peacefully at his home in Elverta, California, after a nine month battle with cancer. Born in Marysville, California, he attended Rio Linda High School, Yuba College, Sierra College and served in both the Army and National Guard. Duane was a loving family man and a skilled farrier. He loved animals and the outdoors. Born a hundred years late, he lived the "cowboy life" in work and spirit. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce Renison, his daughter, Tina Renison-Ambrose, son-in-law Tom Ambrose and grandson, Joshua Weaver, his son, Shawn Renison, daughter-in-law Jodi Donahoe-Renison and grandchildren, Kiana, Alex and James Renison, and Christina and Gabe Mason, his sister, Sandy Renison and brother, Don Keane, sister-in-law Crista and nieces, Danielle and Andrea Keane, his niece, Heather Randrup. Preceded in death by his mother, Diane Keane; father, Gene Renison; step-father, Martin Keane and sister, Pat Keane. Celebration of life gathering at Sacramento Horsemen's Association, 3200 Longview Drive, Sacramento, California on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Remembrances can be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
