Eugene Littlefield

Eugene (Gene) was born in Pryor, OK to Henry Edward (Ed) Littlefield and Olga Conner-Littlefield. He spent 1 year as a Seabee, then returned to OK where he married Clara Watkins on September 4, 1948. Shortly after they married they moved to Sacramento, CA where they started their family. He was a devoted father to his children Connie Perryman (Dennis), Anthony Littlefield (deceased), Bonita Littlefield, Janet Hewitt (Chuck deceased), Gerald Littlefield, and Nancy Spitzer (Kenneth). He ...also leaves behind his much loved 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as his step sisters Beverly Owen, Sharon Huber, 1/2 brother Eddie Littlefield (deceased)1/2 sister LeAnn McMillan, and 1/2 brother Harry Littlefield. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Clara, his parents and his sister Helen Oyler. He and Clara moved to Rio Linda, CA in 1960 where they spent the next 53 years raising their family and enjoying their retirement. He spent the last 2 years living first with Nancy in Somerset and then with Janet in Citrus Heights. He retired in 1982 after working at Sacrament Pipe Works for 34 years as a member of the Boilermaker's Union. Following his retirement he enjoyed working in his garden, helping Clara in her cactus nursery and attending services at the Full Gospel Church in Sacramento. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Services will be at 1:00 on Saturday, the 24th, at the Full Gospel Church, 715 Claire Ave, Sacramento, CA. A potluck lunch will follow the service.
