May you rest in peace with your loving wife, Carol. You two were such a big part of life for many years and will be missed. I have such great memories of your family.

To the Pritchard Family,
Both Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard were great people. They were like second grandparents to my family, Ferguson family. They were great neighbors and very caring of us kids. They will never ever be forgotten. We wish the family peace and happiness and just know that they are watching over us...

Orville was a kind and gentle man, yet he was a man of steely resolve. He and his wife Carol took three cruises with us. Carol died in August, of '08, but it was part of his toughness that he never complained. Their marriage was one of the strongest we have ever witnessed.
We took a cruise up the Columbia River with him in April, 2009. We could see that he was at loose ends, and missing his wife, but he hever complained or felt sorry for himself. He just moved on. He found joy in conversations with other travelers, and in the beauty of the country around him.
We know with certainty that he was enormously proud of his two sons and his grandsons.. They were his life.
We will miss him greatly.

Jean Charles got it right, "a life well lived." Orv was admired and respected by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy to Orv's family. I have had the utmost respect for Orv, a highly talented man. Always enjoyed our luncheons and conversations together over a pulled pork sandwich and a beer at the Pit Stop. An outstanding man, he will be missed.
