HAHLE, Roger
Of Sacramento, died December 18, 2012, surrounded by his children. Beloved father of Julie McVey and husband Ed of Lincoln; CA, Mary Harris and husband Chuck of Waterville, NY; Susan Hahle of Roseville, CA; Brian Hahle and wife Suzy of Centennial, CO; Diane Dobbyn and husband Steve of Sacramento, CA; Teresa Henry and Rod Tatman of Stockton, CA. Devoted grandfather of 16, great-grandfather of 26, and great-great-grandfather of 6. Preceded in death in 2000 by his wife of 56 years, Lois Mary Slattery. Roger was born in Utica, New York, and lived in Waterville, New York, for 45 years. He served in the US Navy during WWII, retiring in 1978 after 35 years with the Federal Government. He was an avid golfer, loved to sing and dance, and enjoyed his family and friends immensely. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, Friday, Dec. 21st (tomorrow) at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1717 El Monte Ave., Sacramento. Private inurnment.

I'm not very good at doing this. Roger, You were a wonderful husband to my cousin Lois and a great dad to your children. I still have the picture of Pipi & Mimi Gates sitting at the table
in Aunt Leonas dining room on your wedding day. God be with you & bless you.
