Sandra BRYANT Obituary

BRYANT, Sandra Ann
Born September 15, 1950, passed on December 15, 2012. During her final days, it was her sincerest desire to impart the best hope for the future; her faith based on the scriptures and Jehovah's promise of resurrection.
Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Sandra was the second child born in Macon, Georgia to the late Willie Bryant and Bernice Sykes. Sister, Jacqueline Barbarosa, nephew, Christopher B. Hicks, aunt, Vera Coley (Sykes) and many, many cousins survive her. Sisters, Patricia Bryant and Willie Mae Bryant (Hicks) preceded her in death.
Sandra worked for the County of Sacramento for 20 years, following a 20-year career in the banking industry. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from CSU Sacramento and a Juris Doctor from UNC Lorenzo Patino School of Law. Sandra was passionate about the law and looked forward to passing the Bar Exam in 2013. She found joy helping others, feeding birds, studying the bible and sharing the Word with others in field service. She will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her.

To Sandra's family: I want you to know I loved Sandra dearly. We were in the same congregation for a long time and even though she moved from us, we still saw her at special meetings. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Christopher and Jacquline,
Sandra was a true, true friend, private in her thoughts and respectful of the privacy of others. Although we didn't talk regularly, for some Godly reason when she's on my mine I call to check on her and her mother, Bernice. Once, I called her and just that very day Mae had passed, and on another day I called and was told Mama Bernice had passed that day. My dear friend called me the last week of November 2012 while I was out of California, she was her cheerful self, inquired about my family, the call was short and we promised to connect once I return home. I was about to call my friend and OMG, I just learned my friend has joined her beloved mother.
Chris, your aunt was so proud of you. Jacquline, your sister wants you to continue to take care of yourself. And for my one-of-kind friend, Sandra,I miss you,and will treasure the memories of your presence in my life forever.
Blessings and prays to the family.

So sorry to hear Sandra passed. We had offices next to each other and worked together for many years. Sandra was quick with a smile, laughed easily and had a great sense of humor. She was bright and often cited legal codes during the day. She kept law books in her office. She was not afraid of anyone. She had a tough exterior but was actually a teddy bear. I will miss you dear friend!

I am terribly saddened to hear of my friend's passing. I have know Sandra for over 30 years, and had the pleasure of spending some quality time with her in late September. When we visited, she shared many happy memories and photos of her recent family trip back East. She spoke very fondly of her nephew and family, and shared fun stories and history. When we worked together in banking, Sandra was also hard at work going to law school. To this day, I admire her conviction and dedication to all she loved and valued. SB, you will be sorely missed-your smile, your sassiness, and your values. Your friend, Beth (Boomer)

Dear Bryant Family
My sincere condolences. I met Sandra when I came to work for Sacramento County in 1995. She was one of the first experienced workers to welcome me. She was very helpful and kind. As time passed, Sandra and I became friends. Whenever we saw each other we shared a hug and took a moment to catch up. I will always remember her fondly. She will be missed.
