Pat was a huge part of some of my greatest memories, when he came to Chico to live with Greg & I we 3 never missed a chance to seize the day, his art work 4 parents weekend shirts was genius. Laughter, mischief, and a brotherly love was the memories that still burn the brightest! Much love & prayers from this old retired paramedic-ERIC WALBRECHER

Dear Pat--I was so lucky to grow up with you as my oldest and funniest cousin. You were a natural at entertaining, with a sincere smile and an infectious laugh. I can still remember jokes you made at Christmases past. We've seen you overcome so much since, and you were having such an awesome year, a lot of which we were fortunate enough to see through your eyes on facebook--from your awesome experiences at concerts, to your love for Lexi, to snippets of you playing your own music--with your nieces, nephews and anywhere you could, from church to old folks homes. I always admired you and always will. We love and miss you our King and Chief of the Ranahan cousins! I hope you and your Grandpas are having some laughs up there. XO

Patrick: You have been such a light in my life and in the lives of so many at Unity of Roseville, where you worked for over 2 years as our wonderful Sound Technician. You not only worked, but you played with us and brought such a beautiful light and sense of humor. You touched my life, and I miss you, terribly. You remain in my prayers and in the prayers of all of us at Unity of Roseville, where you will be remembered, always. Love you and miss you, Rev. Mary

Your bright mind at work. In 1983, when you and cousin Paul were at my office in San Francisco and you spotted the phone booth next to the mail box on Union Street. You got the phone number, then dialed the number from my office while watching from my second floor window. What fun you had with strangers on the street that answered that phone before you requested they get you out of the mail box ... so many actually opened the mail box to look for you ... I remember one even saying he would have to put down the phone to reach in and save you.
Fun memories to lighten the shock of losing you. Love you Patrick, Uncle Dennis

Oh Pat, I keep replaying those earlier days when we were kids listening to KMEL... thinking how cool u were as a kid at Pine Valley. Lol!! And another flashback I have is of us kids hanging out in a motor home or camper one day... who's I don't know, but it was on the street. Weird. Not sure if Megan remembers this too or not. As we got older and u graduated, I would keep tabs on you through ur sister. Thanks to facebook over the last few years I got to talk to you here and there myself, which was always nice. :) I am still so shocked about ur passing and am in disbelief. I know that you are at peace now and looking down upon us all with that grin and laugh that I remember.
To the Ranahan Family... my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Xoxo
