I had the pleasure of riding with Doug to many Barbershop functions. He was always ready and eager to sing in a quartet or with the chorus. His humor and knowledge will be missed. A wonderful role model.

Doug inspired me to follow my passions especially in regards to sports & music. I will miss his quirky sense of humor & witticisms.
Although Doug was officially my step dad & I considered him dad.

Uncle Doug will be greatly missed in our family. I always looked up to him as my “cool” uncle; from the time when I was little I remember he constantly had an exciting story to tell about some new adventure. He often seemed larger than life to me. Uncle Doug will never be forgotten.

Doug,
It's been a sincere pleasure being your friend and accomplice. Your passion for life and all it has to offer was unparalleled. Regardless of the limitations placed in front of you, your zest for new adventures remained unbridled. Your upbeat and positive attitude serves as a reminder of how much joy and happiness life has to offer. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Doug was a posterchild for living life to its fullest. We waterskied, fished, did stupid things on our trail bikes. His wedding was an "event" - bagpipes and all the Scottish trimmings. We had roudy dinners at Dingus McGee and routed for teams at Monday Night Football at Cassady's. His in promptu recitation from Shakespeare and Boewolf at a New Year's party. My life experience was enriched by being in the company of a bright, super intelligent, educated lovable rogue. May he play the Heavenly bagpipes for ever.

The girls and I have wonderful memories of Dr. Enoch. He always had a joke or anecdote to share, always with a twinkle in his eye!

Doug was a great guy and a great friend.
All the Sacramento Capitolaires and other Barbershop brothers felt his presence and feel his loss...he will be very much missed.
