I just stumbled upon this obituary and was saddened to learn of Dr. McGinity's passing. I remember sharing Reconnective Healing with him and he loved it so much he traveled south to become a Reconnective Healer. He was a profound, loving, caring physician. I hope he inspired many young doctors to follow in his footsteps. May he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. McGinity. I was fortunate enough to gain an important piece of advice from him in regard to holistic healing during my time as a graduate student in Pleasant Hill, CA.

WHEN I WENT HALF TIME PRACTICE, I ACQUIRED OFFICE SPACE ACROSS THE HALL FROM DOCTOR McGINITY. ONLY THEN DID I REALIZE THAT HE WAS THE BUILDER AND INITIAL OWNER OF THE PARKSIDE PROFESSIONAL OFFICE BLDG. I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF WORKING NEARBY AND OBSERVING HIS TYPE OF PRACTICE. THIS WAS TRULY A TOUR INTO WHAT A PHYSICIAN OF YESTERYEAR SHOULD STILL BE TODAY.

Brian, Michael & Teresa, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. He was a great friend, teacher an physician, respected by so many people. I'm sorry I can't be there to attend his services. He loved his children very much. It was a privilege to have known him in this life time.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bernard's passing - he was not only an incredible doctor, he chased the limits by stepping beyond the standard traditions of western medicine expanding his visions with the great work he did with Marcel Vogel and others. Our thoughts and prayers to your entire family.
