Karen Littleton Obituary
SALISBURY - Karen Reavis Littleton, age 59, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Littleton was born Dec. 24, 1953, in Rowan County, the daughter of Evelyn Shillinglaw Reavis and the late David Wesley Reavis. She was a 1972 graduate of South Rowan High School and was Co-Owner Operator of Nashville Nights.
She worked for many years for Security Bank, Home Federal and Omni Bank in the mortgage loan department. She was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed being homemaker and her arts and crafts. She was always a people person and had a smile and a hug for everyone. Karen loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her husband, Jeffrey Wayne Littleton, who she married April 24, 1971; sons Todd Littleton (Jennifer) of Salisbury, Brandon Littleton of Memphis, T., and Jordan Littleton of Salisbury; sister Vickie Reavis Barnhardt (Tom) of Salisbury; grandchildren Brie, Gavin, Laney, Alexis, Xander, Kain and Averie Littleton; and her pets, Lilly, GiGi, Desi and Lucy.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 PM Monday, Sept. 16 at Summersett Funeral Home.
Service: Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, Sept. 17 in Summersett Memorial Chapel.
Memorials: American Cancer Society, Rowan Relay For Life, C/O Frances Morris, 1103 Burkesway Dr., Salisbury, NC 28146; Levine Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232.

Karen & I worked together at Home Federal many years ago. I remember her as a beautiful woman with a warm laugh and caring heart. At the time we worked together, she was the mother to three young sons she loved dearly. My sympathy is extended to you - I know you will miss your mother.

I got to know Karen and her sister Vickie when they came with thier mom Evelyn to the PACE meetings I ran 8 years ago. They were known as my Southern Belles. What a great family and Karen was a great lady. They remain my friends to this day! Karen will be greatly missed and I am very sorry for your loss. I am so glad I got to meet Karen and she was a friend. God bless.

I had only met Karen a short while back when the club was being built as our business was in the same block! She was very gracious in welcoming me to look around. Her presence will be missed!

Karen was the picture of class and humility. She always greeted me with a smile and a hug. Her love for Nashville Nights was like a beacon shining from her. The more crowded it was, the happier she was. Things will not be the same without her. I will miss her. I know she is resting with the angels and God will take care of her. We are at a loss for words and our hearts are broken to pieces. She was the most remarkable women we have known. Her wonderful smile will be forever missed.
