"Daddy-O"
Dale Robert Mark (Daddy-O), passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2014 surrounded by his family. Dale was born on June 29, 1961 to Catherine and David Mark. He married Melissa Nelson on June 13, 1979 and had three amazing children who adored him.
Dale loved watching his children and grandchildren grow and spending time with his family at Kitty's where everyone would always gather. Dale was passionate about his Harley (Paris Hilton) and enjoyed riding with his father and friends, but never more than his Sunday rides with Blue. He will always be remembered as a man with a big heart, a great smile, a strong opinion, and a quick wit. Rarely would you find Dale without a funny comeback, or in a shirt with sleeves. Amazingly, Dale was able to keep his spirit and sense of humor throughout his struggle. Even in his final days, he could be found smiling, laughing, teasing, and making up songs about is current ailments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Dale is survived by; his children, Amber (Sam) Freitag, Aubrey Mark and Brock Mark, six grandchildren, his parents, and siblings, Connie (Toni) Mark and Jackie (Dennis) Peterson. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife.
A viewing will be held Sunday, May 11th from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale, where funeral services will be held Monday, May 12th starting at 11 a.m. with visiting one hour prior.
The Family would like to thank his "Team" at IMC and the nurses with Hospice, who took great care of him. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

One of the best uncles ever always could make me chuckle .I will miss him but I know he is with my aunt Mel and grandpa and grams my heart gose out to his girls and his son he was was a beautiful soul and will never be forgotten

To the Mark Family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Dales passing.
Our thoughts prayers are with you as you endure this very difficult time in your life. Dales memory will live on with all of us. I feel blessed to have shared some of the Funniest & Craziest times of my life with Dale. The memories are endless but they all put a Big Smile on my face that is how I measure a True Friend.
