Amber Bellows Obituary
Amber had an insatiable passion for life and an indomitable spirit. She always sought new experiences and looked for the next challenge to be conquered. She taught us what it means to seek the most from our lives. Amber loved nature and spent nearly all of her free time enjoying the outdoors. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, contagious laugh, endearing heart, and kindness. Amber, we love you and will miss you dearly. Thank you for giving us so many great memories to hold on to and cherish! Blue skies!
Amber is survived by her husband, Clayton Hoyt Butler - to whom she was married on January 24, 2014; her parents, Boyd and Jan Bellows; her siblings: Kelli Pugh (Steven), Brandon Bellows (Valerie), and Zachary Bellows (Melanie); and countless friends.
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Zion National Park rescue team who risked their lives to help bring Amber home.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM with a visitation from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM also at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary.
Donations in Amber's honor can be made through America First Credit Union.

Although I was a roommate of yours for a short while, I enjoyed the time we laughed and made glitter magnets. I still have them on my fridge. You are a happy thought in my heart and there you shall stay, keeping a warm smile there as well. Thank you for being you and showing such kindness and fun.

Our daughter Jessie Mertin danced on the High School dance company with Amber. I remember many times Amber laughing and playing pranks on others. Her zest for life was contagious. Her smile truly was one of her best qualities! She was such a happy soul. May you find peace as you reflect on what an inspiration your daughter was to to so many people.

Amber was such a great gal to have next door. When our kids left home before she did, she would try to beat us shoveling our walks. When we would thank her, we were always rewarded with that magnificent smile of hers. You could tell it made her happy to help us! She will always be remembered with fondness and love. She was blessed with a wonderful, loving, fun family. We would often hear them outside having a lively game of basketball together. Their laughter rang throughout the neighborhood. Thanks, Amber, for brightening lives.

I will never forget Amber's smile, goofiness, enthusiasm, and flexibility ;) Her passing proves that we all need to make sure we spend time with those we love, don't put it off or you may never see them again. My favorite memory of Amber is from the year we went to girl's camp at Camp Williams. I can still see her running around w/ her "superman cape" late at night enlisting the other girls to be goofy w/ her. Her humor & love of life could not be contained. Her smile and laughter were infectious. I have no doubt that she is now making the angels in heaven laugh too.

I danced with Amber our senior year of high school, she was such a great dancer and had so much determination to perform perfectly. The dances she choreographed were so exciting to watch.
