Dear Toni,
We are so saddend by Phil's passing. He was a really good friend to both Mike and I and Mike's parents, Mary and Ted. We sure wish that we had made it down to St George to see him before he passed. We hope you have many cherished memories of Phil as we certainly do. Love to you, Mike and Melissa

Dear Toni,
We were saddened to hear of Phil passing. I first met Phil in Nevada while I was just a teenager when he started to work for Gibbons & Reed in 1957 with my father Harold Higgins we enjoyed many years of friendship with him including 2 years at Spokane Washington and and later in Utah till his retirement .Phil was always fun to be around .He was a craftsman with his welding and every project that he worked on . He had a dog at one time named " old shep which accompanied him in his truck . He treated all his animals included horses like they were kings .He showed his love to Val and later to Ester before their passing . Phil always had a sence of humor always laughing and sharing a good joke . He was like a second dad to our family. I was happy to see him enjoy life with Toni and seeing him enjoy St. George and the may trips they made together
He always will be a Giant in our lifes.and thank him for all he has given us !
