JULIE NEFF Obituary

Julie M. Neff 1976 ~ 2010 Julie Marie Jeffs Neff, a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away at home on November 30, 2010 after a valiant two year battle with cancer.Julie was born June 25, 1976 in Ogden, UT to Richard Fredrick and Marcia Gordon Jeffs. The family resided in Roy and later moved to Clinton, UT. In 1991 the family moved to Snellville, GA where Julie graduated from South Gwinnett High School. She then returned to Utah to attend Weber State College. She met her eternal companion and the love of her life, Brandon LaMont Neff, while in Utah. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 14, 1998. They lived in Utah and Oregon and had two beautiful children, Sterling (5) and Emelia (2). Julie's greatest wish in life was to be a mother and she refused to submit to cancer in order to be near her children. She fought to the very end. Her will and determination will serve as inspiration to her family forever. Julie is survived by her husband Brandon, son Sterling, and daughter Emelia of Draper, UT. Also her parents, Richard and Marcia Jeffs of North Ogden; sisters Diana (Adrian) Peterson of South Jordan; Rachel (Aaron) Mills of South Windsor, CT; Kristen (Shawn) Prewett of Draper; and brothers Michael (Crystal) Jeffs of West Haven; Nathan (Sarah) Jeffs of Draper; and Eric Jeffs of North Ogden. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 5th from 6-8:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home (12600 S 2200 W) in Riverton. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center at 573 E 13800 S in Draper. Friends and family may arrive an hour early to visit. Interment Riverton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to her children are requested at the Wells Fargo Bank in Riverton (12600 S Redwood Road), made in Julie's name. We did not know Julie personally, but our little boy is in Kindergarten with Sterling. I was so touched by this, and feel deeply saddened by your loss. I will always remember how sweet Julie was. How much she loved her family. How patient she was with her kids. I am deeply sorry for the loss that you all feel. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for all of you. I am so sorry her kids won't be able to have her by their side. It just breaks my heart to have seen Julie go through all this pain and heart aches that she has endured. Julie was a very kind loving woman never saying anything bad about any one.
