Steven Lloyd Obituary
Cherished by wife, Elaine; Children, Julia, Gina Jennifer (Duke), Kristy (Doug), Levi (Lindsay) and Ben (Terra). Parents, Merlyn Donna. Siblings, Brent (Trudie), Vickie Alan (deceased). His life revolved around his grandkids (Buddies and Princesses), Matthew, Jared, Alex, Ashton, Isaak, Braxton, Hailey, Elsie, Ava Brylee. Loved good food, camping and fishing at Strawberry and spending time with family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Jordan North Stake Center, 3900 So. 4000 W. West Valley. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W., Riverton and Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment in the West Jordan Cemetery. A Donation account has been set up to help with funeral expenses at Mountain America Credit Union.

Over the past few days, like many, I've had the Lloyd family frequently in my thoughts. Even though life wasn't always easy, one of my most frequent associations with your family is that of laughter. I could always count on a smile and a sense of connection. Each of you is definitely a testament to that gift from your father. I wish I could be there to mourn with you. This is a tragic loss, and my heart goes out to you. Steven was warm, kind and generous. I have a wonderful kokapelli that he hand made and gave me as a gift that I cherish. My staff speaks fondly of him, and are saddened to hear of his death. He was in our office for his own needs, but always asked about me, my family, and my staff. He will be missed.

Many of our fond memories of West Valley include Levi being at our house with Tyler and friends. If memory serves, Steve even bought our 1977 Blazer when we sold it. He seemed so likeable and we are so sorry for your loss.

Steve, It was so good to see you at or class reunion. When I visited with you, I recalled that little guy that lived little more than half block from Liberty Elementary School. He was a quiet and shy friend but when I got to know you , you would just open up. Your passing has brought sadness to myself and all your other classmates. You were always a loyal friend. When we saw each other at our reunion, you just picked up right where we left off. I am glad that we were able to remake our connections. Thank you for all the contributions you made to our friendship throughout the years. I am sure that you will be missed by those who you are living behind your family, friends and neighbors, as well as all your friends and classmates. Levi, I was saddened when I heard of your dad passing. I didn't have to opportunity to meet your dad but I have heard great things about him.
