Nancy Nason Obituary

Nancy Dobesh Nason 5/27/35 ~ 12/25/09 Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and dear wife left us on December 25, 2009. Born May 27, 1935 in Genoa, Nebraska to Vernetta Cavey and George Bennett. She married Rupert A. Dobesh November 21, 1953 in Sidney, Nebraska. Together they had four children. Rupert E. Dobesh (Mary), Jeffery G. Dobesh (Patsy), Russell G. Dobesh (Joanie) and Angela D. Wright. Nancy later married Fred R. Nason where they retired and made their home in Nevada. She had a distinguished Civil Service Career at Hill Air Force Base. She was active for many years with the Great Salt Lake Retriever Club. She is survived by her husband, children and sister, Barbara Jeanne Perri (Joseph). Preceded in death by her brother, parents, first husband and grandson. Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Valley View Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation Thursday, December 31, 2009, 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hunstman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, SLC, UT 84108.
