Dick was in my high school graduating class in Houston. I heard of his passing from Randy Stalnaker, and was shocked to hear of it. I remember Dick's great sense of humor, and it sounds like he carried it with him through this hard passage. My condolences to his wife and family and all those who got to know him in later life.

I went to high school with Dick and was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Another classsmate, Glenn Van Shellenbeck, told me about two weeks earlier he was about to visit Dick so I was encouraged that he was doing well. I was quite surprised to learn of his death.
Dick's brother David is also a friend. I remember that they had the first Toyota I'd ever seen. I thought they were the coolest people because of the very creative things they did and the great car they had. In my memory, Dick is always smiling.
Although I hadn't seen Dick in quite some time, I still considered him a friend and will miss him.

Dick was such a close friend, we spent high school hanging out. I miss him very much; we could share so much from those young times, and we kept in touch over the years. A special, special person who will remain in my heart.

I met Dick when he was in high school and we were friends from the start. So many fun times together, and even with extended times apart, we were still such great friends-I love him and miss him! And love you, Pam!

I didn't have long to get to know Dick, but in the short time we knew each other he impressed me as a great guy among men. Such a positive, outgoing spirit! His overcoming attitude will live with me.

No matter how long since I had seen Dick, it always felt like it was just the day before, and that connection extended to my kids. Since the days when I was invited over to sample Pam’s latest culinary genius in Austin, Tx through our last ski trip in Park City, I have felt lucky to be included in their circle of friends, young, old, married, single, kids and dogs, of course. Ever positive, ever energetic, ever young-at-heart. Dick’s belief that he was the luckiest man to have Pam, meant that he was always right where he wanted to be – at Pam’s side. So, Dick, I will miss your big heart, your joy and love, and we will treasure Pam as you did.

Dick I will miss you so much! What an inspiration to us all on how to live life. I only wish I could have spent more time with you and Pam. Thank you for being a wonderful Uncle, Brother-In-Law and Friend to my family! I agree Pam was blessed to have you as were you to have Pam. It was a Love that most of us would only dream of!

Dick was a childhood friend and later in college he and Pam became my husband, Tom's and my closest friends. Dick was always the life of the party (and there were many) and the one to slap a reality check on Tom who sometimes takes life a little too seriously. We will miss you, dear friend. Your eternal optimism is inspiration to all of us. Love you, Deb and Tom

Dick Snell was the best! Fellow Taurus he was like a brother to me. The Godfather of my two children. An example of what we want all the men in our lives to be like. Generous, caring, helpful, loving, and so much FUN!!!! He was the first guy on the dance floor. I'll never forget his sincere, hardy laughter. He left this world too young but with so many great memories. What a joy to be a part of Dick and Pams' life. Pam is the luckiest woman in the world to have been married to Dick. He will always be with us. His great spirit will never leave us.

My Uncle Dick was always one of my favorite Uncles, there was never a dull moment around him and he always knew how to make you laugh. I will never forget when he had lasic eye surgery and had to wear those yellow glasses, which were hilarious, and once he was finished with them he gave them to me...I thought that was so cool. I will miss him greatly and think of him often. I love you Aunt Pam!

Dick was and always will be my Brother-In-law...he is closer to a brother to me...I first met him when he was dating Pam around 1972. He helped our family move our belongings to Carolina Beach, NC.
Dick was always the kinda guy that would speak his mind; he always lead "the pack", and never complained about anyone or any place that he had become acquainted...he is with us all in Spirit and will always be alive and vibrant...I love and miss you, my brother!

Dick will be remembered for his love of Pam, his dogs, and the energy with which he lived. His dry wit made him the life of the party, and terrorized the inept. Love you guys, J and Larry Maisel

Dick was a wonderful person to work with. He was kind, gernerous and easy going. He had very entertaining stories to tell about his life, and he always made me laugh. I loved listening to him talk just like a genuine hippy. He always talked about his wife Pam and their sweet dogs. God bless you all!

Everyone of Dick and Pam's single girlfriends wanted to clone him. He was always our champion and often our wing-man and, on occasion, bad-date rescuer. And he was always always our dance partner! I was totally thrilled that my daughter got to know him the past few years - so she would know how high to set her standards! We were all so lucky to have him in our lives and are still so lucky to have him in our memories. We are here for you Pam!! Love P and the gang.

Dick Snell was a wonderful, positive person even though he went through many struggles. He was a fun ski buddy and a wonderful uncle. He was always laughing or making a joke to lighten the moment. He will always be in my memory and will also have a special place in my heart.

Dick was the 5th Beatle as far as our family goes. There are 4 siblings in our family but Dick became our brother, not just brother in law, when he married our sister. His generousity, caring spirit, and fun loving attitude will always be remembered.
