Cousin Bob, what a way to locate you after all these years. Someone forwarded your obituary to me because of the Obama comment. My mother Dorothy previously from Hoffman Estates, IL did not keep in touch with her brothers much so we lost track of most of our cousins. Condolences to your family.

On behalf of the South Carolina District 5 Patriots, I extend our deepest heartfelt sympathies to Connie, Mike, and to all who were privileged to know Robert Snyder, Jr.
Now, for the first time since George Washington led the fight for Independence from British control, people across this great nation are beginning to realize that their freedoms are being threatened. This is also time in which ALL Americans will truly begin understand and appreciate the sacrifices our brave Servicmen and Women have made for all of us in the name of FREEDOM.
Robert Snyder is a true American Hero, in life, and now in death. His message is:
Let us never forget. We must be diligent, and know who our enemies are. If left unchecked, they will destroy our freedom and the principles upon which this nation was founded.

Bob's obit was emailed by a fellow patriot. I'm honored to follow his wishes. Nothing would please me more than to clean house next November! I grew up in a military family and wish to thank Bob for his service to our nation. Some would have us believe that being a patriot is a thing of the past, but nothing could be farther from the truth. My most sincere condolences to Mr. Snyder's wife and family, and thanks to them, as well, for paying tribute to him the way he would have wanted (I am assuming as this was filed with his obit). What a true American to ask people to do what is best for their country -- and not worry about being politically correct. He must have been an amazing man, and his sense of humor is one that will be felt across our nation. May he proudly look down on election day (November, 2011) and know that the people of the country he loved are helping to take care of and support his family now that he has gone.
