I want to express my sincere condolences to the entire Comstock family. Randy was a very bright part of my life. My memories of time spent with Randy and the entire family bring joy and laughter often. There was never a dull moment. It is nice to know that Fluffy has a companion now!

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to reconnect with Randy before he passed. Mysterious how things happen.

I am so glad that, even in this trying time, the family is looking at the positive. The outpouring of love from lifelong friends is a tribute to the lives Randy touched and the mark he left on this earth. While Randy will be greatly missed, he will always be remembered. I have told stories of him often, to people who had never met him. I will continue to do so.....

Dear Comstock Family,

I was so sad to hear of Randy's passing. Although I haven't seen Randy for many years, he will always be a part of my life. I have many fond memories of growing up with Randy and friends in our neighborhood - playing baseball at the school, church, and many others. From all that I've read in the last few days, I can see that he was a wonderful man who loved his family and who loved life. Please accept my condolences. You are in our prayers. Tonight, I was looking at some pictures and came across a few of our little Cub Scout pack, probably in the late 1960s. All of us, Randy included, were having a great time. The pictures made me laugh - a good way to remember Randy, I think.

Randy, I want you to know how much you meant to me. You always could make me laugh. Thanks for your friendship and support. You will truly be missed

Bonnie, Charles, Ginnette, Kelley, Craig, Cami and the rest of the family,

Since finding out about Randy's latest fight with cancer, all of you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Being able to spend that monday night with Ginnette and Randy a few weeks back will always be a fond memory. Growing up with Randy is a flood of memories. Doing things with the five of us boys, we are a band of brothers whose freindship trancends the ages. Randy is again blazing the trail for us. What a wonderful reunion we will have when we are all together again.

To Randy's children: your father was a wonderful man. Remember him and keep his memory alive. Tell your children about him so they can tell thier children.

Ginnette: It was great to meet you and my only regret is that I hadn't renewed that friedship with Randy before this last month.

Bonnie, Charles, Kelley, Craig and Cami: Your Son/Brother is like a brother to me. And I feel so honored to know all of you and be apart of your family.

All of you remember that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of you. Even though this time is tough and you are feeling the loss of Randy in this life. Rest assured that you will meet him agian and will be able to be with him.

Also, as they have been for Randy these past few months, my thoughts and prayers are with you, asking that you will be comforted and looked after. My love goes out to all of you

Love You,
Scott

Boy do I remember the Comstock Boys and Randy was the leader of the pack. With their army fatigues and rifles in tow going door to door to enlist others to join in the fun. I will remember his smile, big heart, thoughtfulness, energy and also the mischief he would get into. Even now I laugh with the memories I have of Randy, Kelly and Craig, boy the stories I could tell. He will be missed by his family and remembered fondly by all. Are thoughts are with all of you

Dear Bonnie,Charles and family.
I have been so saddened to hear about the loss of your Randy and knowing the pain you are all going through. It is such a hard thing to lose someone so special in your life. Life is so precious and we just never know when it will be our time to return home. I pray you will be comforted and will think of all the special and fun times you have all shared together with Randy.
I have thought of your family many times the past few weeks and some memories that stood out in my mind from that little neighborhood that was special to me, was when you took all us kids minature golfing and of course,I had a crush on the boys, I was only 5 yrs old then which means Randy was 10 but Randy never made me feel like a little tagalong. Sometimes all us kids would go out at night to ding doorbells and Randy made me feel so brave, he would let me ding the scariest house in the neighborhood and would say I was the only one that dared to do it. Gosh, our poor neighbors for putting up with us. We were all so young then but your family has held a special place in my heart and I am greatful I was able to know Randy. I can tell he grew into a great man by the thoughts being left. I know you will miss him but you must know he will always be watching over you.
I'm sure Mike had a smile on his face when he saw him coming and I hope your family takes comfort in knowing one day you will all be together again.

Dear Comstocks...I am so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I am sure you are all comforted in knowing that he is finally free from his suffering. He was an awesome guy and I have some fond memories of him. He was always sure to let me know that no matter what I was driving...his ride was much cooler than mine. I used to love his teasing and I admired his protective big brother attitude. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord bless and comfort you through this difficult time.

Dad,

I will never forget our good times together. I have been thinking of all of our fun times of playing ball in your back yard and how i broke your old glove, it always makes me laugh how you told me it was because I had a good arm but we both knew it was that worn out glove haha. It will be impossible for a day to go by without thinking of you and your loving personality... I will miss you dearly and love you forever.

May 5, 2009

Charles, Bonnie, Craig, Kelly and Cami,

I feel that I have also lost a brother. Practically growing up in your home gave me some of the greatest memories of my childhood. When I think of Randy I think of his smile and the way he made others around him happy. He never had a care in the world. He always had a special light around him that attracted others to him. No wonder he was so successful. I'm so sorry that he and all of you have had to experience this difficult process. I know you are all really proud of him. The world will not be the same without him.

Love, Shauna
