I have lived in W.Bountiful 2nd Ward for 20 yrs and currently am serving a mission with my husband. We knew, loved and respected Jewel, and was so sorry to hear of her passing, and because of our mission unable to attend her funeral. We give you our condolenses at this hard time.

I remember happy times at the Buys home. I know my parents, Don (Truman) & Marjorie Hafen, loved your family and appreciated your love and kindness to them. May you find comfort in the life and example of your mom and hope in the Gospel plan.

Dear Family and Friends,my memories of my wonderful big sister are too many to fill this alotted space. During our childhood we shared many good and some bad memories. She has always been my strength and an example of what a good Wife and mother is. She cared for me when I had my first child and my husband was in the Navy fighting a war. She was a liviing example of what an LDS woman should be. Even though she has suffered poor health for so many years, she still had a smile. When I visited her the first of May, I knew that it was that last time I was going to see that smiling face,never complaining. A big thank you to her Children who have so lovingly taken care of her over these many years. She will be missed, but our loving memories will be long remembered. Aunt Billie

Dear Cousins,
May God bless you in this time or sorrow. I loved Aunt Jewel very much. I remember all of the Christmas days we spent together. Childhood memories are wonderful to reflect on in these times of sorrow. Remember the good times.
