Emily Nielsen Obituary
September 11, 2015 the world became a little less beautiful. Our family lost a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend Emily Rebecca Nielsen. She will always be remembered for her loving personality and contagious laugh. She was a giver, beyond creative and always had a smile.
She was born November 4, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David and Rebecca Nielsen. She attended Bingham High School and U. S. U. She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed teaching Primary. Emily was employed with Mountain Land Physical Therapy as a clinic coordinator and was loved by many.
Through her selfless nature of kindness and compassion she chose to be a tissue donor to continue to bless the lives of others.
She loved outdoor activities, especially fishing in the dark. She loved crafting and being with her nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by all and will always be remembered in our hearts.
She is survived by her parents David and Rebecca Nielsen, her brothers Nick (Ilana), Matt (Candace), and Ty D., grandparents Ray and Kay Hunt and Eldon Nielsen.
Preceded in death by her Grandmother Karen Nielsen, her uncles Steven Hunt, Stewart Nielsen, and Daniel Nielsen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Glenmoor 3rd Ward, 9455 South 4800 West, South Jordan. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 16th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City and at the church from 10:30-11:30 prior to the service. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.

I remember Emilys happy countenance, she always had a smile for those around her. As I observed her with her family she was very good to Ty and enjoyed hanging out with him. She was very much attached to her mom. I belive they were the best of friends. I envision Emily in heaven smiling down on all those who think about her and care about her. She will always be surrounding her family and creating loving and peacful communications. I had the privelage of working with Em in young womens. She was a peace maker among the young women. She always supported her leaders. I felt her love and her smile melted my heart everytime.
We all love you Emily and we will never forget you.

I was so very very sad when I went to rehab this week and beautiful Emily was not there. She was always so cheerful, thoughtful and kind to my husband and me as I've been in physical therapy for the past four months. My love and prayers are with her family and friends.

My heart is broken and I will miss her greatly....especially the times our families got together to go shopping and have some holiday gatherings together....Emily always made it sooooo fun! May the Lord bless you with strength as you strive to understand and go through this terrible loss.

Dear Becky , and Dave .i was very shocked , and saddened by the news of Emily's death . Emily was a beautiful girl , I loved watching her grow up . Tim remembered watching your kids , lots of great memories ! Please , please know that we are thinking about you , and your family , are are keeping you in our prayers . Emily, I am having a hard time finding the words to express how much I miss you. Our friendship was truly a blessing. You have been there for me through all my ups and downs. Emily I did know you for a short period of time but in that short period you were the best person I could talk to cause we had a lot in common. You're such a beautiful women inside & out, so caring,funny, and boy we could talk about country men & Disneyland.
