Leroy Lutz Obituary

LUTZ
Leroy Wallace Lutz was born September 6, 1929 in Hondo Texas to Wallace and Asela Lutz. He died January 13th, 2012 in his home surrounded by his family. He attended La Coste High School and Pan American College. He served in the USAF for four years and then went to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone and retired after 43 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia Hahn Lutz and six children. Susan Alexander (Arthur), Linda Fischer, Michael Lutz, Karen Tindall (Tom), Kimberly Pruitt (Alex), and Steve Lutz (Shannon) and 14 grandchildren. Leroy was a remarkable husband, father, and grandfather. He was an active member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed family, fishing, hunting, taco breakfast with friends, and coaching C.Y.O. He was a long time member of the Holy Name Men's Club, Telephone Pioneer's, and C.W.A. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the caring professionals of Vitas Hospice for their support.
SERVICES
Rosary will be recited at Dellcrest Funeral home, Monday January 16th at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated January 17th at 10 am at St. Jerome's Catholic Church followed by burial at St. Jerome's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made the St. Jerome's building fund or the charity of their choice.
