Judith Braymen Obituary

Judith Barnard Braymen died peacefully at home on November 4, 2007 at the age of 72 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul A. Braymen. She moved to San Antonio from her birthplace in Tulsa with her mother and father, Betty and Jim Bob Barnard at age 5 and remained here the rest of her life. Judy graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1952, where she met the love of her life, Paul Braymen, whom she married and was blessed with four beautiful daughters. Judy was active in the Junior League of San Antonio, The Battle of Flowers Assn., Town Club, and Green Hand Garden Club. Survivors include her loving sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Denny Cheroutes; sister, Genie Barnard Stern; brother, Jimmy Barnard; daughters, Barbara and son-in-law Carlos Black, Paula and son-in-law Jack Frost, Tracy Braymen and Shannon Braymen; grandchildren, Courtney and Erin Black, Misty McCreary, Jeffrey Frost and Dimitri Braymen; great grandchildren, Holly and Benjamin McCreary, Hunter and Fisher Frost; brothers-in-law, Billy Braymen and wife Verety, David Braymen and wife Barbara; and sister-in-law, Iris Braymen. Besides her immediate family, Judy is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Betty Brothers and Joyce Anthony for their love and care during the past months. MEMORIAL SERVICE WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2007 3:00 P.M. PORTER LORING CHAPEL 1101 MCCULLOUGH In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Interment will be private.
