I will always remember Mike Travis as a gifted, genuine, funny and caring man. He was full of jokes and stories and loved Boston baseball. He had a true admiration of teaching and his students. Michael....enjoy heaven's wonders!

Mr. Travis was such a blessing to so many people inluding his wonderful wife. My Best Friend Courtney Jones was taken under the wing of this sweet man and his sweet wife. even though i had only met him about 2 months ago at my best friend Courtney Jones's birthday party, he was such a very sweet and funny man! he had so many encouraging words to say to his many students! I am very thankful for the kindness and the caringness he gave to courtney jones as she was going through many of life's struggles.
Rest In Peace Mr. Travis!

My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with Mike's family - with Jackie, his loving, wife. He was kind and always ready to help anyone. I worked with Mike at Fox Tech and I will forever remember his dedication to his students - he cared much about his students - always there to talk to them and to listen to them. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed.

Mr Travis, I remember you making such an impact on our kids lives at Fox Tech. You made connections with our most at risk kids and devoted your Saturdays to them at Saturday school. You will be missed and remembered fondly. Thank you for your devotion as an educator and for always doing it with a smile.

I'm one of Mike's colleagues from Fox Tech, and I'm so glad I was privileged to know him and his wonderfully dry sense of humor! Rest in peace, Mike.
