Herbert Lopez Obituary

LOPEZ
Herbert A. Lopez was born on September 7, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas and passed into the loving arms of our Lord on March 22, 2010. He was preceded in death by his second wife Celia Lopez, first wife, Mary Procell and sister, Rose Stone. Herbert served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Dixie, received the WWII Victory Medal and played the Saxophone while serving in the navy and continued his love of music throughout his life. He was a passionate artist who became an accomplished photographer and retired as an artist illustrator from Randolph Air Force Base. He was also a proud Mason with the Lonnie Irvin Daylight Lodge #1309 for 50 years. Herbert is survived by his daughters, Diane, Lora and husband Jens, Yvonne and husband Robert, Yvette , Suzette, Karen and husband Ray, Great-Granddaughter Nikki Hunter; sons, Gilbert and wife Dee, Herbert Jr. and wife Sandy, Robert and wife Martha, Albert ; sister, Evelyn ; brothers, Rudy , Fabian and wife Lilly; 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
