Ventura Calderon Obituary
Ventura "Tito" Calderon, age 88, passed away on September 10, 2014 with his family at his side. Tito proudly served in the US Army in WWII in Germany. He
retired from Kelly AFB & the Texas Air National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eligio & Elidia
D. Calderon & brothers, Enrique & Sylvestre Sorola &
Eligio Calderon. Tito is survived by wife Jesusa G.
Calderon; daughters, Eleanor Vallejo (Ed), Elidia
Gonzales (Carlos), sons, Ventura (Tito) Jr. (Cindy),
Ruben (Sandy Saucedo) & Raul (Teresa) Calderon;
grandchildren, Eddie Jr. & Eric Vallejo, Anthony, James
& Matthew Gonzales, Marcie Alvarez, Vincent, Joshua,
Brandon & Cassandra Calderon; great-grandchildren,
Nick, Audrey, Garreck, Mason & Sawyer Gonzales, Xavier,
Jacob & Marissa Alvarez, Aidan, Samantha & Max
Calderon; sisters, Martha Gutierrez & Bertha Hernandez;
brothers, Felix, Hilario & Sam Calderon. Visitation
will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from
5:00pm-7:00pm with the recitation of the Rosary at
7:00pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Cherry
Ridge. Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 17th
at 9:00am at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram
Rd. followed by interment at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetary.
