Evelyn Popp Obituary

Evelyn Hartman Popp , our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2011, at the age of 89 years. Evelyn was born to Henry and Ida Hartman on March 18, 1922, in San Antonio Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Robert R. Popp, Sr., sister Aliska Acree, brother Albert Hartman, and son-in-law Don Lee. She is survived by her sister Edna Donohoe, children Vicki Reese and her husband Ken; Robert Popp, Jr. and his wife Jarolyn; Ronald Popp and his wife Carolyn; and Ginger Lee She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and other loving members and friends. Besides dedicating herself to raising her children, she assisted her husband with the interior designs of the custom homes he built. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and trips to the casinos. She was an active member of S.P.J.S.T. Lodge 133 San Antonio. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011, from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
