I remember Mrs.Morales and her little store. I grew up on Stafford St. and would go the her store often. Sorry to hear about her lose of her husband Pete and daughter Sylvia. If Hope reads this maybe, she remembers our family. My parents were Mr.&Mrs. Wells. I am Barbara Wells Cruse, my brothers are Tom, Richards and Charlie, and my sisters are Linda and Sharon. I do remember you and Sylvia, but don't remember Lali. So sorry to hear about the death of your Mom. I have good memories of her. Barbara Wells Cruse, Albuquerque, N.M.

I remember Mrs. Morales so well. We lived across the street from her home and neighborhood grocery store. She was always so nice to all of us. Mr. Morales, very quiet, very kind; he once took me to a San Antonio Missions baseball game. And we loved Sylvia and Lali and Hope too. The Morales family has always been a cherished part of my memory of San Antonio, on the corner of Stafford and Tilden.
