Eddie Bess Obituary

June 8, 2015
On June 8, Eddie Fay Rohmer Bess, our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, left her earthly home to spend eternal glory with her Heavenly Father. She was 65 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vickie Rohmer and two sisters, Alma June Purvis Jungman and Geraldine Nena Purvis.

She is survived by her son Billy and his wife Tracy Bess, her daughter Ginger Bess and her husband Donald Savant and granddaughter, Natalie, her sister Jeannie and her husband Charles Hall, numerous nieces and nephews, countless cousins, extended family and friends.

She attended St. Louis Catholic School in Castroville, TX, and entered nursing school after graduation. She was a nurse for over 40 years and was the ultimate caregiver when anyone was in need.
Fay did not want any type of funeral service; she donated her body to science. An informal memorial will be held at Holy Cross High School from 7- 9 p.m. on Friday, June 12.
