Joe Flores Obituary

FLORES
Joe Anaya Flores went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2011, San Antonio Texas, at the age of 68. A loving son, brother, uncle, and great-uncle, he was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 01, 1943. His mother and father, Lilly Anaya Flores and Joe G. Flores, whom he had a very close relationship with preceded him in death. His siblings, Linda Campos, Sylvia Sifuentes and Mario Flores survive Joe as do numerous nieces and nephews, Rick R. Campos and wife Monica of San Antonio, Texas, Gasper F. Sifuentes, III and wife Michelle of San Antonio, Texas, Sandra Bessel and husband Rich of Long Beach, CA; great-nieces and nephews, Sierra, Steele, Lilly, and Ava Sifuentes and Austin Reed Campos. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Denise Hart, his kidney doctor, and the staff at the Baptist Hospital and US Renal Dialysis for their many years of support and friendship to Joe. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Joe to the State of Texas Kidney Foundation (http://txkidney.org/index.html) Visitation will begin Friday, June 30, 2011 at 4 pm at Simplicity Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7pm.
