The violets of early spring here
remind me of the bluebonnets of home that must now surround her resting place and may spread to cover it by next year's spring and all the springtimes after, not without wilting, though, in summer's heat that comes to Texas earlier than here, remaining hidden beneath the muted tones of winter, but still there in the earth, in memory, waiting to bloom again in hearts that love her and in the springtime of heaven, alive and glorious forever.

Sandy you were a dear friend to me when I was in San Antonio and after I moved back to Albuquerque. I came to love you and Pam. You were a kind and gentle person and a lifetime friend. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. My prayers are with your family.
