I was saddened to hear of the passing of Travy. I was a pal from Roosevelt as well. I bought his album he & his friends produced. He was very talented and back in the day, the "coolest" guy I knew. The 10th of April was my favorite song & I use to tell him, "so you wrote a song about my birthday". I haven't had contact with Travy since high school but it sounds like he had a wonderful rich life & one filled with a loving family & plenty of friends. Rest in peace dear friend.

I was just told by Missy through my daughter, Rebecca, about the tragedy. I am so deeply saddened by the passing of such a nice man. My prayers go out to each and every member of Travy's family. Though I haven't known the family long, it was very apparent to me that you all love each other very much and I am sure this will continue to be a great loss. I will continue to pray for the Remmert family.

We are so sad to hear of Travy's passing. He was a friend from elementary to high school. Even then, it was clear that he was "gifted", and we are not surprised to hear that he was so generous with those gifts throughout his life, or that he received so many blessings in return. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Cheryl and his devoted family.

My first memory or Travy was him playing
Drums for the east terril hills elementary
Choir. That would be close to 40 years ago.
Either me or my sister still have a record of
(Me and my Piano) not sure how I remember
that. My thoughts and prayers are with your
family.

We knew Travy from Our Lady of the Atonement Catholic Church. He was so helpful when he made our recording of the Nine Lessons and Carols and so willingly generous with his time and talents. He will be greatly missed.

Travy was a very talented, inspiring, and deeply passionate person, who was blessed with one of the most generous and gifted families i have ever known. Travy was a dear friend in my knowing him through my pharmacy and when he graciously recorded an album for my barbershop quartet, he made a great artistic contribution. I wish we could have worked with him more.
