Jeremy Anderson May 9, 2017 San Diego Native San Diegan, Jeremy "Jerry" Tempest Anderson died at his home in Alpine, CA. He was 70 years old. Jeremy was born in San Diego to Betty Tempest and Jerry Daniel Anderson. He grew up in Chula Vista, graduated from Castle Park High School and attended South Western College. "Jerry" retired from the City of San Diego Water Utilities Department after 25 years. He married his high school sweetheart Adela Lesiuk and had two children, Jeremy Tempest and Aimee Elizabeth. Together they enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities such as hiking, picnicking, collecting wood and shooting. Jeremy enjoyed country living, with an orchard, raising pigs, chickens, and goats. He was a skilled home mechanic and do-it-yourself connoisseur. Many friends and family benefitted from the deep pit BBQ he built and the several classic cars and tractors he restored. Jeremy was predeceased by his parents, his brother Jonathan, his beloved son Jeremy and his long-term girlfriend, Teresa Gritman. He is survived by sister Deborah of Santa Fe, New Mexico, daughter Aimee Schabilion with husband Jeff, granddaughters Peyton and Sydney, and grandson Jeremy, all of Irvine, CA together with Teresa's grandchildren, Gage, Baylee, Molly and Boston. Jerry had many dear friends who were like family to him. He is missed. Please join us for a BBQ at his home on July 15 beginning at 2pm.
