Dear Shorter Family: I was very saddened to learn of the passing of Mike. About 10 years ago I had contracted with a pool company, paying most up front. Had it not been for Mike's consideration, diligence, and very hard work, the job would never have been completed. Besides the stress upon him at the time over many clients whose projects were never completed or even started, he worked under the burden of just having lost his brother Noel. Each time I enter my lovely pool, I think of Mike and how hard he worked digging it out and setting the liner. I am doubly saddened to learn of his stroke in 2003. May he rest in peace knowing how proud you must feel of his contribution to the family and community.

Dear DD and Heck, I was saddened to hears of Michael's passing. It has been many years since our days in Casa de Oro Little League. I'll always remember your dedication to your children and
also the good times Bob and I had with you, especially the parties with the music you provided and the time in Coronado at the apartment and the beach. Bob died of lung cancer seven years ago and I am now married to a wonderful man
and living in Arizona. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and know that over the years you have been one of my best memories.
Love, Kathy
