Dennis Sumrow Obituary

Dennis Wayne Sumrow, 65, of Grover Beach, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Los Angeles. Dennis was born in May 1947 in Mojave, Calif., to Wendell and Margaret Sumrow, and graduated in 1965 from Boron High School in Boron, Calif. He served in the U.S. Air Force. On the Central Coast, Dennis was known as an entrepreneur and artist. His works have been displayed in several local galleries. Dennis is survived by his brother, Gary Sumrow of Cambria; sister, Mary Pociask, of Rockville, Ind.; and two daughters. Mead Mortuary (760) 256-5671 Barstow, Calif.

We have several wonderful pieces of art by Dennis in our home, and we used to tremendously enjoy visiting his Arts & Crafts antique and art shop when he had it. He will live on through his art.
