We remember and honor the life of Vance Hyde, a remarkable woman whose kindness, wisdom, and generosity touched so many. Her warmth brightened the lives of those around her, and her strength and compassion left a lasting legacy.
Vance was more than a friend, a colleague, or a loved one-she was an inspiration. Whether through her words of encouragement, her unwavering support, or the simple joy she brought to everyday moments, she made a difference in the lives of so many.
As we grieve her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful memories she left behind. We invite those who knew her to share their stories, reflections, and condolences. May we find comfort in each other´s words and in the knowledge that her spirit will always be with us.
Rest in peace, Vance. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Giles and I (Robin) spoke about how great we think you are, and how much we think of you, your smile, attitude, warmth and heart. Thank you for the gift of you all these years, your wonderful caring, genuine spirit, it is a great void you leave in our everyday world/lives and Cambria. To your family, we wish them comfort in this time of physical parting. For you are too much to be contained in your earthly form anymore. Certainly you touched more lives than will ever be revealed. WE love you still. And miss your physical presence. Until we meet again Vance. ....

I really don't know your mom ..never check her hand or hear her breath walking near me ..but i know her more then you.. i know her pay it forward ..gift were you ..she take birth to nice perfect girl ..that i respect .. i still don't know if i cry or laugh ? because if i cry Vance will tell me hey stop and back to your smile work.. i bring with me a lot of boxes of laugh and smile ..so if you are sad now where i can gift them now !
every one need us sad and hidden in gloom ..i still don't know that tune .. i love to be up Beat and that word i learn it from you Catherine !
i know if Vance are here she will call me by my name and said ucif ..stop talking now and take us those boxes you bring !!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Vance was a wonderful, beautiful woman inside and out. It was an honor to know her and to have spent time with you and her.

Catherine, you know how I feel, but for the record, Vance was one of my heroes and is now one of my angels. She was so honest and human, fearless in her convictions, and her smile lit up a room. When she was with someone, she was completely there. She did that better than anyone else I knew. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I think she won the prize of inner peace through guts, grit and grace. I'll always love her. And love to you, too.

Always and forever I will remember Vance. She smiled at me and never knew me. She lifted me up and never knew me. She encouraged me to take my nursing scholarship and Pay It Forward, and for that I am eternally grateful. Catherine continue to shine for Vance.
