Arlene Brown Obituary

Arlene Brown was born in March 1967 in Pacoima, Calif., and died Thursday, June 9, 2011. Arlene and her family relocated to the Central Coast in 1980. She attended San Luis Obispo Junior High School and then went on to graduate from San Luis Obispo High School. Arlene is survived by her children Latoya Horton and Michael Jackson, both of Grover Beach; granddaughter, Kamilla Chagolla; parents, Helen and Phil Jackson of San Luis Obispo; sister, Shirley Morton (Charles); brothers Robert Brown (Bridgette), Phil Jackson (Deneese) and Billey Jackson; sister, Nadine Jackson; lots of nieces and nephews; and companion of 17 years, Ross Gilliam. Arlene will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in Los Osos. Memorial contributions can be made to the Arlene Brown Fund, under Shirley Morton, at any Bank of America.

Wow! I can;'t believe it. Such a lovely young woman so full of life. I remember hanging at your house after school and in the eves when i was at Tiny Mart. We used to have a blast playing music an dancing and just having a good ole time. You will be greatly missed.
