Unfortunately I only cross paths with Dan a few times and each time it took about three seconds to begin to feel his warmth radiate. Inherently happy not because of money or wealth but because of people, where his well being was anchored. I'm just sorry it had been many years since our last meeting and there won't be another. The world has one less "good guy". Be at peace.

I unfortunately only had a few opportunities to cross paths with Dan and though there were long stretches between get togethers it took about 3 seconds to feel his warmth begin to radiate. Dan seemed to happy all on his own probably because the basis of his happiness and well being was not money but people. The world now has one less "good guy". Be at peace.

Working with Dan was never work. He made me feel like we were equals, even if I was technically his boss and 35 years younger. He was a friend that taught me that you can live every day, at any age, with child-like wonder. His stories live on in all that knew him.

Dan was my brother-in-law. But I never considered him as an in-law; just as a brother. He was also a great and close friend, and a huge part of my life. Always upbeat, positive and incredibly funny, Dan had an infectious, sunny disposition that just brightened your whole day. He truly was a ray of human sunshine. I will miss him very, very much.

My life was blessed by having Dan as a part of it. He turned my day around a few times with his wit and zest for life. Thank you Dan, and best thoughts for his family.
