Hazel Silva Obituary

Hazel "Lee" Silva, 82, was born in 1928 to Vernon and Edna Kersey in Anderson, Mo., and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at her home in Paso Robles. She was a beloved daughter, loving sister, cherished wife, beautiful mother, precious grandmother and faithful friend. Lee graduated from Federico''s Beauty Institute for Cosmetology in 1960 and was a hair stylist for over 20 years. Her passion for life, family, fishing and traveling was evident to all who knew her. She was known for the sweet unconditional love she had for her family and friends. A special thank you to Lee''s daughter-in-law, Linda, for keeping her promise. Lee is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Alvin Silva; sister, Lorrain Fast of Paso Robles; brother, George Kersey of Boise, Idaho; children Donna Shultz of Paso Robles, Larry Fodge of El Paso, Texas, and John Lawson of Arroyo Grande; stepdaughters Debbie Brodmeyer of Paso Robles and Danell Schoendoerfer of Lancaster, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Lawson; stepson, Randy Silva; and siblings Ervin, David, Ray, Bertha Kersey and Norma Jean Kersey. Lee is dearly loved and will forever remain in our hearts.
