Lois White Obituary

Lois Roseen "Rose" White, 90, was born in March 1920, to Charles and Maud (Emerick) Lucas in Williamstown, W. Va. and passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, in Oregon. She was a long time resident of Cambria from 1983 to 2009. She started the Women''s Republican Club in Cambria, was a docent at Hearst Castle, organized fashion shows held at the Cambria Pines Lodge, worked in the Chamber of Commerce, and worked at Jean''s Fashions while she lived in Cambria with her husband Milton White. During World War II Rose worked as an A1 welder, a Singer Sewing Instructor and sales at the Pomona Chamber of Commerce. Rose married Milton White in 1950 and together they raised 3 children. Rose is survived by daughters Lois Tulleners of Tidewater, Ore., Lora Feaster of Alta Loma, Calif.; son, Steve White of Pinon Hills, Calif.; sister, Virginia Louk of Woodsworth, Ohio; and 2 grandchildren, Renee Rose White and Jason White. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years. Rose''s final resting place will be next to her husband at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills, Calif. Graveside services will be at 12pm, Friday, November 19, 2010.
