Lori was my mom across the street. She always knew what to say and was the most beautiful person I know from the inside out and the outside in. I will keep her in my heart forever as will everyone she ever touched. I have never seen as much love and compassion as what her family shows towards eachother every day. My thoughts are with them. I will love Lori forever, but this isn't goodbye.

I've thought quite a bit about Lori and the interactions I've had with her. It's fascinating that whoever knew her reflects on her smiles, her warm, accepting, and incredible way she had with others.
Always cheerful, always smiling, never judging others, Kacy, Whitney and Jacob remarked about how everything in life was half full – never half empty, Lori is always willing to listen, never condescending, helpful, a true Life warrior:
I remember just three weeks ago Lori coming to her son Jacob's soccer game. She was determined and nobody could stand in her way. My wife Sherri and I both reflect on the wholesome smile Lori emitted when we first noticed Lori on the sidelines. Nobody can ever duplicate her finding beauty in every moment, never complaining, and true happy spirit.

To Lori's Family,
Thank you for sharing such a loving Daughter, Mother and Wife with all of us. I met Lori in 1985 and she was a positive lady then and that never changed, even when she was feeling her worst. She will be truly missed, but her memory will be with us forever.

To Lori's family,
Thank you for sharing your daughter, mom, and wife with all of us.I met Lori in 1985, and she was the most positive person I had ever met then and that never changed. She always had a smile for you even on her darkest days. Her strength and will to live was amazing, and she will be truly missed, but will be remembered forever. I am deeply saddened to hear of Lori's passing. I had no idea that she was struggling with cancer, and I think that speaks to her strength. I can empathize with Joe and perhaps mostly with Jake, and my heart is broken for them both. But I know them well enough to believe that their strength, character and the bond between them will carry them through this sad time, aided no doubt by the memories they will share of a truly wonderful mom. My deepest condolences to them, and everyone who was touched by Lori's grace.

My love and prayers to Joe and Jacob and all of Lori's family. Lori once said to me how much she adored being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was truly a happy person who loved her life. While her life was too short for all who her loved her they are the very reason she was so happy. May your wonderful memories bring great comfort. Sue Sverchek, Jacob's second grade teacher.

Words cannot express how much we all love you. The joy that you brought to people and that happiness that surrounded you no words can describe. The only way I can put it would be like when the sun is first popping up over the mountains and when it hits you and you feel the warmth from it. That’s how we all felt when we were around you. I know that you’re in a place that is so much better but it hurts to know we are all going to have to wait tell we get to see you again. We love you and you will be forever missed.

Lori is my son in law, Daniel's, aunt. I met Lori many years ago and she is truly a beautiful spirit who always had warmth and kindness for everyone else. In the midst of her fight, she was concerned about other's health and did not speak of her own trials.
Lori will be truly missed by us all. I will always remember her beautiful face and warm heart.
